A chemical peel is a facial treatment to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution that causes the dead skin to slough off and eventually peel off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.
The chemical solution removes the dead skin cells and stimulate the production of new skin cells which in turn can reduce /remove skin blemishes or wrinkles, reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth, correct uneven skin pigmentation, and soften acne and acne scars.
